Breaking News

Our guide to the vegetation of the Great Victoria Desert, Shrubs and Trees of the Great Victoria Desert, has proved so popular that a second edition is now with the printers.  The new edition is a complete revision by botanist Manfred Jusaitis.  It includes several new plants and many improved photographs.  The Publications page will provide a preview and distribution details of the new edition soon.

2024 Field Trips

Two field trips are planned for August 2024 – a vegetation photopoint trip along Goog’s Track and a quondong survey trip west of Oak Valley.

2024 Social Trip

Another enjoyable social trip to Cantara in the Coorong National Park took place from March 14th to 19th.  Colleagues from Friends of the Simpson Desert (FOS), Friends of Mound Springs (FOMS) and Friends of Innamincka (FOI) joined us.
