Our guide to the vegetation of the Great Victoria Desert, Shrubs and Trees of the Great Victoria Desert, has proved so popular that a second edition is now available.  The new edition is a complete revision by botanist Manfred Jusaitis.  It includes several new plants and many improved photographs.  Go to the Publications page for more details.

Time and Venue for all meetings: 10:30 am, Room 2, Mitcham Memorial Library, 154 Belair Road, Hawthorn 5062. All welcome, including prospective new members.

2026 Field Trips

Two field excursions are planned for August 2026 – a vegetation photopoint trip and a quondong survey trip.

2026 Social Trip

This year’s social trip to Cantara in the Coorong National Park will take place from April 30 to May 5.  Colleagues from Friends of the Simpson Desert (FOS), Friends of Mound Springs (FOMS) and Friends of Innamincka (FOI) will join us again.
