Our guide to the vegetation of the Great Victoria Desert, Shrubs and Trees of the Great Victoria Desert, has proved so popular that a second edition is now available.  The new edition is a complete revision by botanist Manfred Jusaitis.  It includes several new plants and many improved photographs.  Go to the Publications page for more details.

2024 Field Trips

Two field trips were held in August 2024 – a vegetation photopoint trip along Goog’s Track and a quondong survey trip west of Oak Valley.  Reports on these trips can be found on the Field Trips page.

2025 Social Trip

Another enjoyable social trip to Cantara in the Coorong National Park took place from April 10th to 16th.  Colleagues from Friends of the Simpson Desert (FOS), Friends of Mound Springs (FOMS) and Friends of Innamincka (FOI) joined us.
